Legends of All Time

I never expected that while preparing the 2nd part of this article, that it would be like a goodbye to my favorite band of all time, my idols of rock music, and an inspiration to me, "The Scorpions" who just announced that they will retire from the music bussines by the end of 2010.
Scorpions, "There Is No One Like You", "the band of the 20th century".

In November 27, 1942 a new legend has been born, Jimi Hendrix, the greatest American guitarist, singer and songwriter. Jimi was originally from Seattle, Washington, he played guitar like any teenager but he’s the only one who became a guitar legend although having a difficult childhood, his mother and his father had a very bad relationship with each other until they broke up after they had two more children beside Jimi, after the split up of his parents music became Jimi’s refuge, Jimi was a huge fan of blues and rock, he actually taught himself to play guitar at the age of 14, after many years Jimi played guitar with two bands; The Rocking Kings and The Tomcats. In 1959 he dropped school but he said that he had been expelled because of racism in his high school, but the principal; Mr. Frank Hanawalt, says that Jimi had been expelled due to low grades and lack of attendance. After two years of dropping school Jimi joined the U.S Army in 1961, but joining the army did not hold him back of his passionate music, he formed a band called The King Kasuals, and left the army in 1962, due to as he says an ‘’injury’’, but his commanding officers and other soldiers disagree with him, saying that he was sleeping while duty and showed no skill as a decent soldier, this is why Jimi was discharged, and in 2005 the biography by Charles Cross; ‘’Room Full of Mirrors’’ mentioned that Jimi faked homosexuality pretending that he’s in love with a soldier in order to be discharged from the army, but Charles has no real evidence to support what he’s saying about Jimi.

Wind Of Change, Still Loving You, Rock You Like A Hurricane, Alien Nation and much more that we have got from the absolutely amazing hard rock band The Scorpions, which made them deserve no doubt the title of 'Band Of The 20th Centrury.
